Analysis of the position of science, engineering, and technoloogy careers and how their attractiveness, at all levels, might be increaseed, paying particular attention to European protected areas. The proposal idea concerns the direct, systematic and structured involvment of the science, engineering and technology communities - dealing with the environmental issues - in the secondary educational system. It aims at making the scientific and technological studies more attractive through the environmental challenges.
