The work documented herein concerns the results of a model test activity performed by CNR INSEAN around the "Princess Royal" research vessel of the Newcastle University. The activity was performed in the framework of the SONIC Project Work Package 1.3, "Validation Studies" whose aim is to validate the procedures developed in Task 1.1 and Task 1.2. In particular, the investigation has consisted of the following activities: Cavitation observations for a reference test case at different operating conditions. Acoustic measurements for a reference test case at different operating conditions. Detailed flow measurements downstream of the propeller region at different advance ratio conditions by phase locked LDV. The survey was carried out in the Large Cavitation Channel of CNR INSEAN.

Abstract
The survey was carried out in the Large Cavitation Channel of CNR INSEAN.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
