This report documents the activities carried out in the context of DSO National Laboratories contract n# 7201100611 aimed at measuring the in-plane velocity components in longitudinal planes placed in the wake of an underwater vehicle when advancing close to the free surface. The main focus is to observe and quantify possible interactions between the vehicle wake, from the body and the propeller, and the free surface.
