This paper deals with the description of the custom developed prototype of the electronic front-end for acquisition and transmission of the thermal signals from the thermocouples. The system was designed in particular to preserve the signal integrity, minimizing the electromagnetic noise mainly from the RF circuit, which is expected to affect the low amplitude thermocouple signals. The system here presented is the updated version of a previous circuits developed for optical transmission of the thermal measurements from the grounded grid in SPIDER. This prototype is under test in NIO1 device to check its reliability in monitoring the temperature of some cooling circuits, like in SPIDER and MITICA.

Abstract
This paper deals with the description of the custom developed prototype of the electronic front-end for acquisition and transmission of the thermal signals from the thermocouples. The system was designed in particular to preserve the signal integrity, minimizing the electromagnetic noise mainly from the RF circuit, which is expected to affect the low amplitude thermocouple signals. The system here presented is the updated version of a previous circuits developed for optical transmission of the thermal measurements from the grounded grid in SPIDER. This prototype is under test in NIO1 device to check its reliability in monitoring the temperature of some cooling circuits, like in SPIDER and MITICA.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
