Technical specification for the procurement of the mechanical structure supporting the SPIDER Beam Dump

This document includes the technical specification for the procurement of the mechanical structure to be used to support the SPIDER Beam Dump (SBD). This structure, named also Temporary Support of SPIDER Beam Dump, will be used for the preparation of the component to fulfil vacuum requirements before the installation onto the lid of the SPIDER vacuum vessel. Furthermore, the structure will support the SBD during the installation of sensors and the execution of tests aimed at verifying possible non conformities at the boundary connection interfaces. Technical data of the SBD are provided in the following especially for the interfaces with the lid of the vacuum vessel and for the required constraining conditions. A brief description of the operations to be performed with the SBD positioned on the support structure is given with required room around the component. Finally, some requirements about the structure to be designed are specified.
