This document describes the installation procedure for the thermal sensors procured within F4E contrac t OFC-531-01, on the SPIDER beam dump, to measure the horizontal temperature profile on the central HTE of each pair of beamlet groups. This activity will be carried out within the Specif ic Contract F4E-OFC-531-01 - Neutral Beam Test Faci lity Diagnostics, Task Order No.1: SPIDER Diagnostics #1 . In particular, in this first release the procedure for the fixation of the sensors on the copper rear surface of the Heating Thermal Elements HTE is described, includin g the bending of the hot junction, the cement inser tion and its curing, the grouping of the cables of the s ensors and the routing toward the LEMO connector on the termination boxes.
