The numerical seakeeping analysis of an asymmetric catamaran is performed through the time-domain 3D potential solver AEGIR, for the assessment of catamaran floatover (CFO) topside installations. The time histories of heave, surge, pitch, roll, and their first and second time derivatives, along with the global forces and moments are evaluated, considering a forward speed of 5 and 7 knots in irregular waves for different sea states and headings. The response amplitude operators (RAOs) for heave, surge, pitch and roll are given. The Bretschneider spectrum is used, with modal period equal to 7.1 and 12 seconds, with significant wave height equal to 1.3 and 2.6 meters. Single regular wave simulations with a period equal to 6.5 seconds and a wave height equal to 2 meters is also given, for comparison. Summary results are given in terms of double significant amplitude versus speed, sea state, and heading.
