The objective of the present report is to present generic basic designs of Regional Research Vessels (RRVs)based on guidelines developed in terms of noise and vibration reduction, work deck installations, and bubblesweep-down avoidance within the context of the project (EUROFLEETS2), and including technologies ready to beimplemented on RRVs.Specifically, two generic basic designs for multi-purpose RRVs have been developed, both taking advantage ofoutcomes obtained from task "Specification and guidelines for Regional Research Vessels".
