The objective of Task 2 of this project is to select multi-spectral SAR data sets to be then used as input in retrieval and classification algorithms for the six themes under investigations (forest biomass, water body phenology, agricultural crops, crop biomass, soil moisture and sea ice). The six themes have been introduced in the deliverable "Survey and description of multi-spectral retrieval schemes" . Retrieval and classification algorithms are the topic of Task 3 and the related Algorithm Description Document.
