The goal of this report is to compare the Life Cycle Assessment Analysis (LCA) results and the environmental impacts related to ThermoVacuum treated timber to an alternative product as a tropical teak timber and thermo treated wood. LCA assumptions are based on information provided by the industrial project partners, including the Italian plant producer, the French sawmill equipped with a 8 m3 ThermoVacuum plant, and end-users. Secondary data are provided by Ecoinvent v3.1 and JRC ILCD databases. The impact assessment was performed with the Ecoindicator 99 methodology processed by SimaPro 8.0.5
