Progetto europeo COST Action CM1304 (Emergence and Evolution of Complex Chemical Systems). The activity is focused on the transfer of chirality from molecules to complex systems. The complex systems we take into consideration are those generated by the selfassembling of chiral amphiphiic molecules. These aggregates are investigated as complex systems as well as models of biological complex systems, i.e biological membranes. An aspect that is not neglected in the context of these investigations is clarifying the possible role of primordial biological membranes in the chiral homogeneity of molecules. Abstract
