The object of this research activity is the characterization of the unglazed materials, collected from five ceramic statues dated back 1420 AD. The statues coming from the façade of the Eichstätt's Cathedral and they are currently kept at the laboratory of Technische Universitat Munchen for restoration interventions. The investigation are deal with provenance and technological studies. The characterization is devoted to verify the typology of the raw materials used and to ascertain the use of the same argillaceous raw materials for all the artefacts.
