This document describes the design of the High Voltage Radio Frequency Test Facility (HVRFTF) to experimentally verify the insulation design of the ion source RF circuits adopted for SPIDER. Starting from the geometry and the operating condition of the ion source of SPIDER the requirements for HVRFTF are derived. Then the detailed description of the design of all the HVRFTF systems is reported. The design verifications are finally presented.
