Il Progetto "Valorizzazione del patrimonio tecnico-scientifico della Biblioteca Centrale del CNR". Dal cartaceo al digitale: come cambia l'accesso all'informazione

The objective of this memorandum is the demonstration of how the Central Library "G. Marconi" of the CNR has managed to adapt itself to the changes of the time introducing and illustrating in this work the phases that led it to the passage from the paper catalogue to the computerized one. years makes use of the most modern technologies, with the aim of enhancing and promoting its technical-scientific heritage. The paper catalogue consists of international format cards, prepared according to the RICA and ISBD standards. A large part of the works included in this catalogue - which can still be consulted - is also present in the computerized catalogue. From 2017 the Central Library has become part of the National Library System, in the "polo delle scienze" following an agreement between the Central Libraries of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) and the National Research Council (CNR) . The computerized catalog of the Library is being transferred to the SBN index and can be consulted using the OPAC SBN or the OPAC of the Polo delle scienze.

Obiettivo di questo memorandum è la dimostrazione di come la Biblioteca Centrale "G. Marconi" del CNR sia riuscita ad adeguarsi ai cambiamenti del tempo introducendo ed illustrando in questo lavoro le fasi che l'hanno condotta al passaggio dal catalogo cartaceo a quello informatizzato che negli anni si avvale delle più moderne tecnologie, con lo scopo di valorizzare e promuovere il suo patrimonio tecnico-scientifico. Il catalogo cartaceo è costituito da schede di formato internazionale, redatte secondo gli standard RICA ed ISBD. Gran parte delle opere comprese in questo catalogo - che è tuttora consultabile - è presente anche nel catalogo informatizzato. Dal 2017 la Biblioteca centrale è entrata a far parte del Sistema Bibliotecario Nazionale, nel "Polo delle scienze" a seguito di un accordo tra le Biblioteche centrali dell'Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) e del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR). Il catalogo informatizzato della Biblioteca è in corso di riversamento nell'indice SBN e può essere consultato tramite l'OPAC SBN o l'OPAC del Polo delle scienze.
