The CNR celebrates the year of Marconi with the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of its Central Library in the presence of the daughter of the Italian scientist, Elettra and its current president, Massimo Inguscio. The present work wants to leave a trace making the report of the event in view of the Eighty Years of the death of Guglielmo Marconi, the great Italian scientist who was President of the CNR from 1927 to 1937 and who contributed with his research, his studies and his inventions to revolutionize the World. It is thanks to him that today we can benefit from the television, the mobile phone and the microwave oven that are based on his studies on electro-magnetic waves. Marconi is responsible for the birth of the Central Library established in 1927 that still continues to pursue its mission: to promote, preserve and enhance the technical, scientific and industrial progress of our Country.
Il CNR celebra l'anno marconiano con la commemorazione del 90nnale della sua Biblioteca centrale alla presenza della figlia dello scienziato italiano, Elettra e del suo attuale Presidente, Massimo Inguscio. Il presente lavoro vuole lasciare una traccia facendo il resoconto dell'evento nell'ottica dell'Ottantennale della morte di Guglielmo Marconi, il grande scienziato italiano che fu Presidente del CNR dal 1927 al 1937 e che contribuì con le sue ricerche, i suoi studi e le sue invenzioni a rivoluzionare il Mondo. E' proprio grazie a lui se oggi possiamo beneficiare della televisione, il cellulare ed il forno a micro-onde che si basano sui suoi studi sulle onde elettro-magnetiche. A Marconi si deve la nascita della Biblioteca centrale istituita nel 1927 che ancora oggi continua a perseguire la sua missione: promuovere, preservare e valorizzare il progresso tecnico-scientifico ed industriale del nostro Paese
