This document reports about the experimental campaign performed in 2017 in the R&D Negative Ion Test Stand ( RNIS ) of the National Institute for Fusion Science (Toki, Japan) . The facility and its diagnostics are described in [1]. Code benchmarking and validation activities on the nega tive ion beam optics were performed at the RNIS during past collaboration [2]. During last year collaboration, the first measurements of beam compensation and beam plasma parameters were performed as described in [3] and the related technical notes [4][5].
