MITICA INTERLOCK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

This document contains the general requirements for the Interlock System for the MITICA test bed in the ITER Neutral Beam Test Facility. The MITICA Central Interlock System takes care of the global functions of equipment protection during the operation of the MITICA test bed, providing continuous monitoring of abnormal events, automated protection actions on plant units, and logging of events and data relevant for MITICA and PRIMA equipment protection. The MITICA Central Interlock System also provide interlocking functions on the basis of a predefined set of MITICA experiment modes of operation. The MITICA Central Interlock System neither manages nor implements any function related to Personnel Safety.
