This document describes the first validation of the SENSAGRI Surface Soil Mositure Product at field scale, where parcel borders are available, or at 1km over the remaining areas by exploiting Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 observations. Time series of SSM product have been generated over the SENSAGRI test sites and stored in the SENSAGRI data repository. The validation of the SSM fields retrieved focuses on the comparison of time series of retrieved against in situ SSM measurements. Metrics for validation are reported and the representative sampling error issue at field scale is discussed.
