The project aims to meet the objectives in the field established by the Lazio Region. In particular, it will draw up a census on the biomass availability in the short, medium term using next-generation technologies (remote sensing using high-resolution hyperspectral sensors) and ecological models; It will carry out a spatial and energy requirements analysis to establish the introduction and dislocation of heat and energy generation plants from biomass. It will start the analysis of the impactofsuchsystemsonairqualitybydrawingdifferentscenarios;Itwillrunanenvironmental impact and economic analysis. It will also proceed to the dimensioning and the construction of a small sized pilot plant, in which will also be carried out several studies about the pollutant emissions.
