According to the working programme, it is reported the production of dense ceramics by a conventional ceramic process. Powders of V-doped BaTiO3 and Yb-doped BaTiO3 were prepared by solid-state reaction. The powders were compacted by cold isostatic pressing and the resulting cylindrical pellets sintered in air and characterised with x-ray diffractometry and electron microscopy; samples density was measured as well.
