This technical report present the results of a preliminary analysis of the postural abnormalities in subjects affected by PD through an active vision system able to track the body movements. The analysis of subjects in normal and natural standing stance allows to detect some typical posture attitudes (e.g. stooped posture, lateral flexion, knee flexion), to estimate the recover ability of a correct standing stance and finally to measure a set of parameters from which an indication of the severity of the postural abnormalities and instability can be automatically evaluated.

Abstract
This technical report present the results of a preliminary analysis of the postural abnormalities in subjects affected by PD through an active vision system able to track the body movements. The analysis of subjects in normal and natural standing stance allows to detect some typical posture attitudes (e.g. stooped posture, lateral flexion, knee flexion), to estimate the recover ability of a correct standing stance and finally to measure a set of parameters from which an indication of the severity of the postural abnormalities and instability can be automatically evaluated.File in questo prodotto:
