This document is aimed to give a description of the AURORA system infrastructure. In particular a specific set of requirements for the SW infrastructure will be defined (by starting from the AURORA Requirements Document [RD1]) and the design of the AURORA system architecture will be presented in detail, giving also a short description of the innovative technologies that will be implemented.
