The exhibition is organized within the framework of the EU project "CEMEC - Connecting Early Medieval European Collections", co-funded by the Creative Europe Framework, the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Byzantine and Christian Museum. Whitin the exhibition the CNR ITABC set up an innovative multimedia installation. The installation is conceived to create a powerful connection between the real artifact and the virtual contents and it consists in a holographic showcase. In the showcase the real artefact is shown and thanks to the virtual projection on and around it, it is brought back to life: the public can watch and listen to fragments of its story, evoking characters, events, voices.
