The aim of this section of deliverable D9.2 is focused on the Ethics requirements for the use of human cells in InSilc projects. The rationale behind the use of human vascular cell types during InSilc experimentation of Task 3.3 is mainly to reproduce in vitro, in the cell culture environment, the dynamic in vivo conditions at both physiological blood flow regimen (without BVS) as well in the presence of an implanted BVS in patients with coronary artery disease.
