The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of NEXT-NET project aims to help companies and policy makers to define the paths to guide companies into the future. Based on the macro-scenario developed in T2.2, SC strategies have been selected as the basic structure for establishing a cross-sectoral and cross-technological initiative at European level where research and innovation topics (RIT) represent the steps towards a new approach to SC. 10 SC strategies have been identified: SC1: HyperConnected SC/SC2: Disaster Relief SC/ SC3: Global SC/SC4: Urban SC/ SC5: Resource efficient SC/SC6: Human centred SC/ SC7: Closed loop SC/SC8: Customer-driven SC/SC9: Service-driven SC/ SC10: Bio-intelligent SC. 9 Macro-research and innovation topics have been defined: MRIT-1: Value creation for data driven SC/ MRIT-2: Platform based economy/ MRIT-3: Distributed decision making process/ MRIT-4: Traceability and transparency in SC/ MRIT-5: Connecting and managing transportation and logistics/ MRIT-6: Tools and methods for circular SC/ MRIT-7: New approaches for energy management and storage/ MRIT-8: New organizational models for SC/ MRIT-9: New tools and methods to enhance work environment
