The 15th Centr R&D Workshop was held in Pisa

For the first time, the 15th R&D Workshop of Centr (the Council of European National Top-Level Doma'in Registries) was held in Pisa, attended by the Systems and Technological Development Unit of Registro .it and the Internet and Technological Development Services of the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the Cnr of Pisa. The R&D Reasearch and development Working Group of Centr deals with technology and innovation, looking to the near future with a keen eye on the activities of the members of Centr. Among the projects presented at the event by Registro .it and Cnr Institute of Informatics and Telematics, the most recent one is "Domain auctions based on blockchain", a prototype that shows how the blockchain tecnology can be largely used and applied even in the domain name field.
