This document describes the main achievement obtained during the last two years, in the development construction and commissioning of a new insertable probe head, called High Resolution Probe head HRP, to be used for edge monitoring of W7-X experiment. The probe was conceived to be installed on the W7-X mid-plane fast reciprocating manipulator and commissioned during the OP1.2b experimental campaign. The HRP was installed on the MPM, fast reciprocating manipulator on W7-X, and was successfully used during the week w30 and for 1 day during the week w42 of the OP1.2b experimental campaign.The main result achieved so far can be summarized as follows:o consistent modifications of edge parameters during iota-tuning experiments. Explored configurations: standard (EJM), mirror (KJM) o example evidence of the presence of current carrying filaments in the edge region in different configurations. o reconstruction of average radial profiles of equilibrium B field (r, theta, phi)
