The task of modello di business aims at the definition of a new business models based on exploiting the developed technologies. The deliverable and the carried out activities of the task 5.3, were two-fold: first, a general analysis on the business models exploiting the CyberSort developed technologies; second, a specific concrete analysis of business model for exploiting the CyberSort results in specific sector (one of the most relevant applicable sectors for utilizing CyberSort technologies). Moreover, the deliverable would provide indications for the successful industrial exploitation in the identified waste sector. In particular, following detailed activities carried out in Task 5.3, will be reported as following: 1.The state of the art for the waste separation system: This aims at understanding -from the business model perspective- the current state of the waste separation system ("as is" business models and "as is" utilized technologies for waste separation). 2.In order to introduce concretely a business model for the developed technologies, a specific sector will be introduced -one of the most relevant ones for utilizing the CyberSort technologies. 3.Macro Market Analysis of the identified waste sector: Especially because, market analysis acts as the primary and key element of the definition of the business models. 4.After the above analysis on the general and specific business models, the methodology that supported this study to provide the empirical data for the definition of the business model, will be provided (interview with the supply chain companies in the identified target sector). 5.The combined insights from the above analysis and empirical data gathering will enable this deliverable to define the business model of the CyberSort developed technologies in the most applicable sectors. The results will be provided on three different levels for the purpose of being inclusive and comprehensive on Business model elements: Applicability analysis of the developed technologies; Economic assessment of the CyberSort Technology for being applied in the target waste stream; Definition of the business model for developed technologies of CyberSort for the companies treating the target waste stream.
