Maritime Research Policy Conference

Among the several actions and deliverables foreseen in the CASMARE project, relevant ones for the purpose of policy guidelines are to Organize N. 3 Maritime Policy Conferences (the so-called High Level Events). In the previous Coordination Action - ACMARE a final and very successful conference has been organized in Brussels at the end of the project to demonstrate the work done and to disseminate to a broader public and to policy makers the just released strategic documents of the WATERBORNE TP. In the present project CASMARE appears more efficient to hold at least the first 2 Maritime Policy Conferences outside Brussels to try to gather to the conferences a wider and most of all different public which is used to attend the WATERBORNE meetings. This will also ensure the participation of parts of the stakeholders community that are less present in the discussion. Based on the aforementioned considerations the Maritime Policy Conference will be hold in Le Grand Port Maritime du Havre alongside the Conference on Ports and Environment organized by CETMEF.
