In April--May 2017 during the second expedition of the project for the Support for Sustainable Eco-Tourism in the Puerto Princesa Underground River leaded by the Tagbalay Foundation of Manila in co-operation with La Venta Esplorazioni Geografiche and financed by the Philippines-Italy Debt for Development Swap Program, carbon dioxide concentration in cave atmosphere and water has been performed at different measurement points along the underground conduits of PPUR karst system.
