The present report analyzes the impact of positioning error s or misalignments of the multi - apertu re electrodes of the SPIDER [ 1 ] accelerator on the optics of the extracted beamlets. The assessment here reported are based on analytical calculations and on nu merical simulations based on 2D [ 2 ] and 3D [3 ] ray tracing codes.
