The aim of this research activity was focused towards the valorisation of glycerol by convreting it into added-values products by performing environmentally friengly catalytic processes. Specifically the attention during this first year was focused at exploring the feasibility of efficient routes for additives production based on etherification of glycerol to poly-ethers by using butanol.
