Abstract

In this work an algorithm is presented for the numerical solution of some boundary-value problems which we encounter in the study of finite deformations of elasto-plastic solids. After presentation of the ordinary differential equations system which describes the constìtutìve response of the material, the necessery incrernentel relation for the time integration of the equations of motion is obtained. Afterwards, the procedures for the solution of the boundary-value problem using the finite elements method are described end the stiffness matrix is explicitly calculeted. Finally ,a technique for the numerical integration of the constitutìve equation is shown
