The 'Task 3.2: Test of dummy sensors in water tank' foresees the execution of towing tests on different dummy TLA systems, provided by each collaboration partner, in order to obtain information about their motion behavior and hydrodynamic parameters. According to the decisions taken during 1st HYPPR Meeting, the task will be split in two phases: the first, performed at INSEAN towing basin, aimed to the quantification of TLAs' drag and the study of underwater behavior, the second, performed at INSEAN cavitation tunnel, aims to the evaluation of pressure and velocity fields. Since the first phase is preparatory for the second one, the latter will be threated and discussed in a further document after the collection of some experimental data about TLA. The present document, concerning the first phase, reports the proposed test setup, its main components and preliminary test results.
