In this report are presented the results of the sea keeping tests carried out on a submerged towed vessel. The model was built in 1: 2 scale and tested at two different speeds from 2.75 to 3.44 knots for two different sea conditions, seastate 1 and seastate 2 with peak periods of 2 and 3.4 seconds respectively. The identified sea-spectrum, in agreement with the customer, was the spectrum of Pierson-Moskowitz. The tests were performed for a duration of about 30 minutes in real scale for all expected series. The following dimensions were measured: waves elevation, heave and pitch motions of the model, acceleration at the center of gravity and advancing resistance. The time histories of these physical quantities have been analyzed in the frequency and in the time domain to extract the different response amplitude operators, spectral moments and significant heights. The results of these analyses are presented in graphic form at the end of the report.
