This deliverable describes the background, foundations and initial development of the Pedagogical Toolkit - WP3's chief output. After a brief introduction, the document provides an overview and comparative analysis of SELFIE-related initiatives in Europe (Section 2). Subsequently, Section 3 describes the underpinnings and formulation of the Conceptual Model on which the SHERPA Pedagogical Toolkit is to be based. A draft version of the toolkit is outlined in Section 4, described in terms of both structure and proposed content (guidelines). To conclude, the deliverable outlines the next steps to be taken, including WP4 validation of the draft version Pedagogical Toolkit. This last step will inform further WP3 development of the toolkit, which in its final release form will be deployed as an online support system integrated into the SELFIE ecosystem.
