The problem of Integrity Constraints checking in the area of logic databases is consid- ered and some research results are presented in which two di erent notions of constraints emerge: 'Integrity Constraints' and 'View Constraints'. These two notions are presented and discussed by means of two examples of applications. Two approaches towards the implemen- tation of View Constraints are also presented.
