These activities have been occurred after the release of the software version 0.0 (i.e. FISH.NET 0.0) on February 1st, 2020; before, this release, it was previously tested by the expert managers (EM)2 of the project and by the DT.

Abstract
The National Research Council (CNR) of Italy has been entrusted by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies of the Italian Government (MIPAAF) to develop and maintain the national web-portal (FISH.NET) for managing fishery information. FISH.NET is a multi-components information system1 for validating, archiving and accessing fishery-related data and technical reports. Data are collected during scientific and biological sampling campaigns, by monitoring processing industry and aquaculture, and obtained from social and economic surveys. International directives (e.g. Data Collection Framework) and regional policies (e.g. Data Collection Reference Framework, agreements with intergovernmental organizations) set the operational frameworks in which providers organize data according to the specifications and deadlines of the end-users (i.e. data calls). During 2019, FISH.NET was designed and developed [1, 2] as a public website allowing a privileged access by some user typologies; in particular, the representatives of Operating Sub-Units (OSUs), which are the research organizations and institutions in charge of delivering fishery information. Over the 2020, data and technical reports will be stored in FISH.NET directly by the OSUs by following distinct workflows (i.e. for data and technical reports, respectively), as well as by relying on specific log-in authorizations. This report illustrates the activities led by the CNR development team (DT) in 2020 to optimize the components of FISH.NET so as to simplify and improve information submission by OSUs. The activities established to training OSUs on working in FISH.NET and to assisting them in the production phase (see Chapter 1 - Users' engagement) as well as to fix and tune FISH.NET performance by reporting feedbacks of the users (see Chapter 2 - Improvement of the software performance). These activities have been occurred after the release of the software version 0.0 (i.e. FISH.NET 0.0) on February 1st, 2020; before, this release, it was previously tested by the expert managers (EM)2 of the project and by the DT.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
