The method aims at enhancing the features of XRD bidimensional patterns collected on a YBCO sample at Synchrotron Facilities. The rationale is as follows: 1) a data-driven background is evaluated; 2) Regions of Interest (RoI) are promptly identified on each XRD pattern, via a comparison between the original data and the Poisson-fluctuating background; 3) for each image a clustering of most correlated patterns is finally combined to RoI to accomplish with the task.
