This document presents the deliverable D2.4 "Tools for the economic simulation of new services and business models" of the CarE-Service Project. The deliverable is the work performed under task 2.4 "socio-economic simulation of new services and business model". It focuses on the economic and metrics with the aim to assess the economic sustainability of CarE-Service three recovery value chains of battery, metal and techno polymer. To this aim, diverse methods of data collection (the result of WP2, WP5 and consortium virtual meeting) were used to identify various stakeholders' costs and revenue breakdown in each value chain. Costs comprised of both fixed and variable and were considered for 10 years' project life this way, the economic indicator such as NPV and IRR could be calculated. Also, different revenue streams for each actor has been analysed. Moreover, a set of variables were taken into account to define various scenarios which might occur in each value chain in such a way a broad range of hypothesises have been taken in to consideration. Such method provides a solid foundation for a sound economic assessment. However, it is important to mention that due to crisis imposed by COVID 19 pandemic the economic assessment of SMM, ICT platform and B2C car sharing/fleet management has not been performed
