ACCORDION D8.1 - Protection Of Personal Data Requirement No. 1

This deliverable deals with the requirements for the protection of personal data in the context of the ACCORDION project. This deliverable and the associated workpackage (WP8), has been added to the project by the EC as part of the efforts to ensure that ACCORDION will comply with the Ethics summary report provided as output of the Ethical review process. In particular, this deliverable provides the requested declarations on compliance and/or authorisation required under national law for collecting and processing personal data, as described in the proposal. In fact, TUB, OVR, ORBK, PLEX as well as CNR, in its role of coordinating institution of ACCORDION declare and confirm the compliance with the EU GDPR and applicable national related frameworks. Furthermore, ACCORDION, as part of its management structure, has appointed Ms. Rosaria Deluca, specialized on GDPR as the project's DPO. The project's DPO is responsible for providing guidance regarding data protection strategy and implementation to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements and will also be in close collaboration with the Data Protection Officers of the partner institutions.
