In the experiment for determining the toxic value of guayule resin 89/53/3A in accordance with European standard EN 113-1:2020 cited in the title of this report were utilized three specimens for fungus and dilution of original guayule resin 89/53/3A as obtained from Versalis spa. The biological test of duration 16 weeks obtained the toxic value, defined as the range of retention, expressed in kg/m3 di guayule resin impregnate in the wood , 12.08<kg/m3 >10.65. With the exception of retention 10.65 kg/m3 all the other retentions tested resulted efficacy against the three fungi utilized: Coniphora puteana, Rhodonia placenta and Gloeophyllum trabeum. The next experiments scheduled will be the impregnation with a efficacy retention, 12.08 Kg/m3 of three sets of specimens, two of them undergone to ageing procedures EN 84 ( leaching procedure) and EN 73 ( evaporating procedure) and after these undergone again to three fungus.
