Envimobile is an ERAMSUS+ project that aimed to bring more innovative activities into EE and increasing interest and participation of local people in communities' life. Envimobile involves five partners active in the area of environmental education from four countries, Slovakia, Italy, Spain and Czech Republic and targets primary and secondary school teachers of the participating countries with innovative and interdisciplinary teaching materials focused on environmental education, designed to be used for content and language integrated learning (CLIL) and strengthen key competencies in the use of ICT for teaching. This goal was achieved by providing a mobile application of interactive exercises on the most interesting environmental topics and a series of pedagogical materials (activities) developed according the evocation, appreciation and reflection (EAR) methodology that is proposed by the project. The EAR is a method of dealing with an environmental topic following three steps: evocation raises the interest about the topic and find what students already know about the topic, appreciation keeps them focus on the topic and stimulates the active participation to the lesson (experience learning) and reflection helps them to be conscious of the personal implication of what they learnt. This book presents all the activities developed with the active contribution by teachers from participating countries that attended trained courses during the project. The activities are grouped according to seven environmental topics: air pollution, water pollution, biodiversity, energy, natural and cultural heritage, human environment and waste. and can be implemented for teaching environmental education in primary and secondary schools.
