Survey on the use of environmental data to manage maritime traffic

The survey on the use of environmental data to manage maritime traffic was built up as online form in Italian and Croatian languages in order to simplify the communication with local authorities. The link was sent to the port authorities of Venice and Rijeka, being stakeholders of ECOMOBILITY, interested in the assessment of the impact of ship traffic to airborne particulate. A summary of the results in local language was sent them before the compiling of the survey. The survey includes questions about the interest of the institution for the study of the impact of maritime traffic to airborne particulate, but also on the application for visualise pollution data and planning ecological trips. Staff of the institution were asked to give a judgement from 1 to 5, based on their interest and potentially utility of the ECOMOBILITY results. Despite the application was developed with citizens in mind as potential end-users, the aim of this survey is to have a feedback about the potential utility of the same tool also for public institutions. Free comments were also welcome. Questions concerned potential useful studies to be conducted in the future or additional functionalities of the application.
