In this paper a system is presented for Fourier analysis of two-dimensional signals (IFAS). The system is an autonomous part within a large software structure designed for digital image processing (GEPITER) and implemented at the Operating Unit I.E.I.P.I., which partecipates in the P.F.I. P2 obiettivo "Territorio". According to the standards stated in GEPlTER design, IFAS was written in the high-level FORTRAN 77 and it was carried out in anticipation of its use in working environments under the control of CP/M or UNIX operating systems.
