This document presents the description and implementation of the Data from Online Travel Agencies project in Python (DOTApy)1. DOTApy was born with the idea of collecting a large amount of data directly from an Online Travel Agencies (OTA) and subsequently analyzing it. The extrapolated information regards the hotel infrastructures and their price over a certain period of time.Subsequently, by studying the data collected, it is possible to highlight the changes for the various types of infrastructure during the pre-established period. The heart of the project is the development in Python of the software that allows the automatic extraction of the collected data.
