The Benthos Ecology Working Group (BEWG) was hosted by STARESO and held its 2015 meeting at the Station de Recherches Sous-marines et Océanographiques at Calvi in Cor-sica, France. The meeting was attended by 30 participants, representing 8 countries and the ICES Secretariat. The meeting was structured along the four BEWG core business issues: Benthic long-term series and climate change, benthic indicators, species distribution modelling, disentan-gling the link between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and a new ToR to review benthic biodiversity and conservation in relation to MPA's.
