The maximum horizon angle required for the horizon analysis and also to derive the SVF is obtained using DTM with increasing resolution as inverse function of distance from analysed point. For each direction angle the maximum horizon angle is calculated for a set of points across that direction from each of the points of the input DEM . Separations between the origin locations and points along each direction are defined in the vector. The elevation of these points is converted into the horizon angle: the largest of these angles is the horizon angle for that direction.

Abstract
The maximum horizon angle required for the horizon analysis and also to derive the SVF is obtained using DTM with increasing resolution as inverse function of distance from analysed point. For each direction angle the maximum horizon angle is calculated for a set of points across that direction from each of the points of the input DEM . Separations between the origin locations and points along each direction are defined in the vector. The elevation of these points is converted into the horizon angle: the largest of these angles is the horizon angle for that direction.File in questo prodotto:
