The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of NEXT-NET project aims to support companies (and policy makers) in defining the paths to guide their transformation into the future market scenarios. Based on the macro-scenario developed in T2.2, 10 SC strategies have been selected as the base of a cross-sectorial and cross-technological initiative at European level where research and innovation topics (RIT) represent the steps towards a new approach to SC. The activities carried on in T3.4 involved several experts in a validation process based on the participation to a workshop and a validation questionnaire. Moreover, the sectorial analysis of European industry and the collection of European case studies was completed to support the mapping of best practices in the SC field at EU level and to analyse how companies are actually facing the challenges (or planning future evolutions). The cross-case analysis allowed to identify different ways to implement the strategies and different type of practices.
