This report focuses on the development of policy recommendations for all involved stakeholders, i.e. European Commission, Research and Technological Centres, Industrial Associations, and companies in the process, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Based on the identification of key horizontal issues (KHIs) presented in D4.1, a set of suggestions for solutions is presented in the form of policy recommendations aiming at preparing Europe for supply chains of 2030. The policy recommendations consist of the strategies suggested to the responsible public/private actors, focused in surpassing the specific KHIs' challenges. The solutions may come in the form of new or enhanced policies, projects or programmes and may demand new mechanisms or instruments for the European Commission.
